Manhood Camp Founder

Our History  

Manhood Camp was founded Mark Winkler in 2013. Mark founded this organization with the expressed goal of offering young men useful and sustainable strategies to help guide them safely into manhood and away from anti-social behavior. Over the years, Manhood Camp has provided scores of workshops and trainings at Los Angeles Unified School District high schools, Glendale Unified District staff development meetings, CalState LA, several community-based organization's events, and many virtual fatherhood-related gatherings.

 Manhood Camp's mission of helping underserved youth realize their joy serves as a guiding light for the organization's leadership, shaping their actions and decisions with a clear focus on the well-being and empowerment of the young individuals they aim to support. The mission emphasizes not just addressing the immediate needs of underserved youth but fostering an environment where they can genuinely experience joy, a fundamental aspect often overlooked in disadvantaged communities.
